Episode 104: VICTORIA BALLANTINE - Women In the Home Inspection Industry
After owning and running a high end, custom build construction and renovation company, Victoria Ballantine decided to put her knowledge and skills to great practice and become licensed as a home inspector. Victoria is the only female inspector in the Lower Mainland; she was afraid to market herself and wanted to be taken seriously. We can all agree that women are underrepresented in the home inspection industry and Victoria is no stranger to working in industries that are male-dominated. However, the response has been inspiring and her clients have encouraged her to embrace the experience.
Victoria gives advice to women on how to enter this industry, the low overhead costs to run her business, and which home improvements pay off the biggest return on investment. She loves educating her clients and appreciates the opportunity to safeguard their investments.
